Welcome to An Gleann Cottage Produce!

We are a small food producer based at our home, An Gleann (The Glen), on the stunning Hebridean island of Islay. Famous for its wide, open landscapes and beautiful coastline, Islay and the neighbouring island of Jura have inspired our range of gourmet butter, chocolate and single malt whisky tablet, both in our use of ingredients and in our package and label design.

As advocates of 'slow' food, An Gleann tablet is handmade in small batches to a traditional Scottish recipe which uses the finest quality and where possible, locally sourced ingredients - notably our single malt flavours, tablet with an Islay twist! Our tablet contains no artificial flavours or preservatives and as such is a 'fresh' food which we make to order and hand cut and package quickly to maintain its delicious flavour and texture.

For lovers of good food or Islay's famous Malts, our range of beautiful gift bags and boxes make an ideal present as both Ileachs (locals) and the many visitors to Islay have found. For your wedding or function our favours or loose tablet can provide a delicious taste of Islay at the end of a special meal!
